Q-Master Billiards
We are excited to return to Barry Behrman's legendary Q-Master Billiards next year. Our dates are Sunday thru Thursday, Oct 31- Nov. 4, 2021. Finals on Thursday afternoon. We expect a field of 48 - 56 world class players following the Pat Fleming International 9-Ball Open Oct 22 - 30, 2020.
SCHEDULE
Sunday 11:00 am - Players meeting and Round Robin matches
Monday 11:00 am - Round Robin matches
Tuesday 11:00 am - Round Robin matches
Wednesday 11:00 am - Single Elimination begins
Thursday 11:00 am Semifinals and Finals
Round Robin: 8 flights of 6-7 players (depending on the size of the field). Players will be rated A-G with A players seeded. Each player plays 5 or 6 matches to 125 points. The top 24 advance to single elimination. Each Round Robin flight winner receives a bye in the first round of single elimination. This may change slightly based on the number of entries.
Entry Fee
In our effort to promote the classic game of 14.1 Straight Pool, our $300 entry fee has remained constant for many years. We typically pay 24 spots and all players who advance out of the Round Robin to the Single Elimination knockout round receive a minimum payout of $700. Entry is invitational.
